“Author of "Montauk Tango," Mr. Gross gave a well attended reading at The East Hampton Library on 12/4/10. He supplied a magnificent assortment of deserts from his marvelous restaurant "668 The Gig Shack" 668 being the exchange for Montauk.

I highly recommend this book; it is an absolute page turner. It is funny, smart, intelligently written work, centering around Mr. Gross, and his family, opening a restaurant in Montauk. There are many humorous scenes in this work, such as the Grosses looking for a chef, and the purchasing of restaurant equipment. I can definitely see this book being a great contender for a film. I look forward to the next work Mr. Gross has to offer. Bravo

“Montauk Tango is an intriguing story that reveals the dynamics of a family struggle with its members and its community. Dr. Gross's use of metaphors and illustrative vocabulary bring the reader right into the middle of the action. You will feel the joys and disappointments this family experiences and become enriched and grow with their success and Dr. Gross's insightful wisdom.” December 31, 2010

“I had the chance to work with Dr. Lewis on his book MONTAUK TANGO. It is a fabulous story, written with a sense of humor that takes you through the ups and downs of opening a restaurant in Montauk, trying to stay sane in the process. I enjoyed the book from the get-go, the easy prose, the quirky characters, the surprising plot twists and turns that take you so far beyond the Gig Shack, the restaurant at the far end of Montauk, to taste a slice of the narrator's life as a husband and father. Pick up a copy, and like me, you won't want to put it down.” December 30, 2010

“Dr Lewis Gross well known as Dr Tango and former President of Manhattan Little League Baseball and survived 9/11 in which his office but residence were a few blocks away.

Dr Gross wrote a humorous and honest tale of a father's journey to open a restaurant with his wife who has a passion for food and yoga. Lewis creates an atmosphere where there is great food being created while also imparting the passion and energy of the Tango in each and every bite. With a conventional topic such as writing about one's family, Louis writes in a light and captivating but deeply insightful manner. It is a fun, memorable read that shouldn't be overlooked” December 29, 2010
